AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH OTHER CHRISTIAN MEN, LEARN FROM QUALITY SPEAKERS AND APPLY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE.

Connect
The Gathering Lunch Series is a place for men to connect with other Christian men in a non-threatening environment for fellowship and substance.
Our Lunch Series is held at Fellowship Hall on the campus of 1st Presbyterian Church in downtown Orlando. Even though we have always held our lunches at 1st Pres., The Gathering is a non-denominational men's ministry.
We host five Series throughout the year in January, April, July, September and November. Each series consists of four or five consecutive Tuesday lunches from 12 - 1 PM and the cost is $9.

Tim Johnson - January 10
Pastor - Orlando World Outreach Center - Former NFL Def Lineman
The Orlando World Outreach Center is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multifaceted church founded in 2008 by Pastor Tim and Le'Chelle Johnson. The vision at Orlando World Outreach Center (OWOC) is a "Community of disciples discipling communities for Christ."
William Andrews - January 17
Executive Director - Mercy Drive Ministries
William Andrews spent seven years living on the streets of Orlando; fifteen years in and out prisons as he affectionately calls it his (installment plan). Twenty years addicted to "every kind of drugs one could think of "until the day he came face to face with Christ and his life has never been the same since.
Today William Andrews is Senior Pastor of The Heart of Mercy Community Church of the Nazarene on Mercy Drive in Orlando Florida; Pastor Andrews attended Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield Massachusetts with an Associate Degree in Broadcast Journalism. He attended the University of Massachusetts, Boston campus where he studied political Science. William was ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2005 after finishing his ministerial studies at the Nazarene Bible Institute of Central Florida.
Pastor Andrews's long involvement in the community started at Restore Orlando Inc., where he served as Senior Pastor and a member of the Board of Directors. William was appointed by City Commissioner Robert Stuart to serve as one of the representatives for the City of Orlando on the Central Florida Regional Commission on Homelessness. He continues his involvement in the community as one of the founders of the Mercy Drive Corridor Initiative along with First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and Jobs Partnership. Pastor Andrews continues to work to bring the various partnerships and resources to the Mercy Drive Community and its residents.
Isaac Hunter - January 24

Isaac moved back to Orlando in October 2001 to start Summit Church with his wife, Rhonda, and their long-time friends, John and Brandy Parker. In addition to his chief responsibilities of preaching and leading the staff and congregation, Isaac serves as a speaker at both local and national level conferences and public engagements. He has a passion for communicating through the written word, and his work can be found in magazines like Relevant Leaders, Leadership, and his favorite SUMMIT MAGAZINE
Isaac and Rhonda were married in November 1999 and are the proud parents of Jada, Ella, and Lincoln.

Friends Eat Free
Have you been looking for another reason to invite your friends to a Gathering Tuesday Lunch? Well, we've got a great one. "Friends eat Free" gives you a great opportunity to invite those that haven't been to our lunch in a while. If your friend hasn't been to a Gathering Lunch in over a year, then he eats free (you're on the "honor system" here). This is a great opportunity to get men to check out what The Gathering has to offer, benefit from a practical Christian message and enjoy a free lunch. What could be better?
